This thread is pretty awfully structured.
I'm not sure how I could have done it better unless I was writing a paper or blog post. However this event still fascinates me to this day for many reasons.
Rest In peace to those who lost their lives in this tragic event.
It wasn't any better on the east coast...
The tsunami is why we take these warnings seriously. They predicted it was going to be a few meters high (still deadly), but the waves were way... way higher. And sadly, many lives were lost. There's no doubt both changed how we see this.
Japan is the most seismic country in the world, so they 'where' ready for it. In the span of an hour however. It was an entirely normal day that literally became a whole new operation... Getting people home, checking everything won't collapse, making sure everyone was ok...
I never usually talk about this stuff, but one of the many things that fascinates me is natural disasters.
The Great East Japan Earthquake happened 15 years ago today. It's literally the most studied earthquake and still fascinates me to this day...

Sadly most people here in Europe have either just a double USB-C end with a plug or USB-C to USB cable. Most public transit plugs have either a plug or normal USB port.
