There WILL be beam attacks.
So last night I learned there's a pro version of the GBA flashcart I have.
It supports DS dual slot booting and all three of the sensors some specialized carts have. So I'd only need this instead of eventually hunting these down.
Downside is it's $130 and sold out so uhhhh crap.
Both of these were really fun! Croak's showing a lot of promise and we managed to 100% Towerbolt! Good platformers, definitely give them a look!

I'm... not sure about this one, this was the one low note of Next Fest for me. It felt okay, but it felt very underwhelming. Maybe the original or the first remake was better, I don't know, but this was just... average at best.

RPG with a rhythm thing going on for attacks/skills and a hint of Cassette Beasts' system for using skills. This one opened strong and floored me with a whole song sequence between two of the characters, and already has my attention.

I. I'm not even done with this demo, but I'm loving the combat so, so much from the start and it's a very pretty game. Really want to finish this one, even an hour didn't feel enough and this has me excited to eventually play CrossCode.

What if Breakout, but you fought kaiju? This is also being made for the NES apparently, and it handles its constraints very well. Probably one of the better Breakout/Arkanoid-styled games I've played in general.

It's VERY Star Fox and wears that inspiration unabashedly. It also controls very smoothly, though it's a slight adjust using different buttons for the lasers and charge shots. Also only one stage, but it's enough to show everything nicely.

I also know someone who's been working on this! This one's also getting closer to release, and it's felt more polished each time I've come to it. Your jumps are dedicated, but you have plenty of tools to move around well!

So this one's not only been on my radar, I've very, very slightly helped test this too and it's been great seeing how this isometric platformer's come along as it gets closer to release. Definitely give this a try!

This is one of a couple that're also slightly #ad, as the publisher reached out about this one! The camera was rough and made things look less smooth than they actually played, and the movement/abilities remind me of A Hat in Time (in a good way!)
