I enjoyed Hoppers as a zany talking animal movie but there's something really insidious about its happy ending making everything Mabel's fault. She's the only one who cared, or tried, and the catharsis is that a guy who didn't have to build an unnecessary beltway builds it somewhere else. Feels bad.

Art of the members of Ichabod's Eyes Detective Agency as young children! Benjamin is much the same, but wears a button up shirt. Balsam is exactly the same, but smaller, with a propeller hat, unscorched antenna, and lollipop instead of lantern. Sabrina wears a collared dress and has missing teeth and a bandage to cover a childhood injury. She also holds a broken magnifying glass. Sola is much smaller, wearing a girl scout uniform covered in badges. Olvidar looks nervous, with a slightly large striped sweater and one untied tennis shoe.

There's nothing fundamentally different about the way ICE operates and the way Law Enforcement has always operated. It's always been this awful. Things won't get better until we stop thinking a badge or title makes you in any way superior to another person. Let alone that it ever justifies murder.
This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.
The respectability policing that goes on after cops or federal agents (who are also cops, y'all) kill someone is always unbearable. Dissecting the actions of the victim, putting them on trial when they cannot defend themselves, declaring they should have done this or that. Did they deserve to die?!
With Corentin defeated, the Tear she laired within begins to collapse. Our detectives must determine a way out of this before there's nowhere left to go!

Bought Final Fantasy Tactics to relive my childhood, realized I actually played Advanced as a kid, and was initially (mildly) disappointed by the lack of a life-threatening snowball fight.
