A pre and post spiking protocol depresses claustrocortical EPSPs, unless you perform the same protocol in the presence of DOI, then the polarity reverses into potentiation! We also see some DOI effects on spike kinetics.

Having the best time at #GRCPsychedelics so far catching up with friends, seeing cool new science, presenting my poster, and even going to the beach today during the break!

Delighted to be part of the first Gordon Conference devoted to psychedelics #GRCPsychedlics. My message this morning: science is in this dark place now partly because we spend all of our time and effort in the lab. Get out and talk about your science with the public! Your science will benefit too!

I have successfully finished my PhD in neuroscience and I am stoked to announce that I am starting my postdoctoral work in the Kaye Lab at Yale University in a few days! I will continue to study the neurobiology of psychedelics there. Exciting things ahead!

What a journey it’s been! Tomorrow is my PhD defense 🙀 A little bittersweet, but I’m excited to share my dissertation work and move on to the next phase of my career
