i realized i didn't make a specific reference for Zirko. Since he is a Changeling troll, he can shapeshift to human form easily. It will shape in this form at some point in my novel, just for a chapter.

Changelings are generally portrayed as half-human in the media, of course these are stylistic choices. for my story, I preferred this way

When a child is born to a mixed-race couple, except for their human appearance, they take on most of their traits from the troll parent, primarily fur color, eye color, and sometimes size. When they disguise themselves, they take on all the colors of their human parent.

Actually, yes. In my story, changeling trolls, inherit genetic traits from both parents depending on their appearance. E.g: Zirko in his og form has the color pattern of his troll mother since the genes where stronger, while in human form (only when transformed) he has that of his human father.
