'If I Had Legs I'd Kick You' is a tremendous addition to that worthy pantheon of non-horror films that manage to be significantly more unsettling than 90% of actual horror films. Bonus points for the terrifying hamster.

I really adored this - 'Brian' by Jeremy Cooper (2023). Really moving & affirming short novel about an isolated man whose life gradually transforms after he joins the BFI & becomes ever more absorbed in the world of film.

Really enjoyed seeing Friedkin's Sorcerer for the first time at the Lighthouse this afternoon: it looked amazing in new 4k restoration. Rain, sweat & driving peril so realistic you feel unpleasantly damp just watching it...

THE DARK RETURN OF TIME by R. B. Russell is a title in our catalogue occasionally overlooked.

It's an uncanny tale for bibliophiles: It concerns an antiquarian bookshop in Paris. One day a gentleman enters the shop searching for a book that should not exist.
