You'll need plenty of missiles then, don't you. And have to find them. If you want to avoid using missiles and instead use e.g. helicopter gunships, please keep in mind that some of those boats have missiles of their own. So it takes time, eats into your missile stack or endangers soldiers.

I remember that - back then - US Navy ships sailed in between the oil tankers they guarded because - unlike the tankers - they weren't able to withstand mine hits.

Jaja, jetzt lästern die PV-Fans wieder über Erdgas, das bei politischen Krisen plötzlich viel teurer wird. Dass auch die PV massive Probleme bekommen wird, wenn die Sonne dann nach ihrer Roter-Riese-Phase zum weißen Zwerg wird und deutlich weniger Energie abstrahlt, wird wieder verschwiegen.
