It's a difficult choice when looking at heirloom pieces - undyed (of any shade) seems the safest option, as it's something that wouldn't be associated with a period of time.... but not always the most exciting to spend so much time working with.
Yes once I'd seen how much I had to work through the frogging of some of it became an even easier decision. Some projects serve their purpose without needing to be finished. :)
