The small, green, developing fruits are visible clustered along the thick branches. Edible by humans but have a bland taste.

Fig Tree species of the genus Ficus, such as Ficus Superba or Ficus Nota that exhibits cauliflory, the phenomenon where fruits grow directly from the main trunk and branches. 🌱

The sting of sharp winds slicing
Seaweed beds ebbed
On flows of tides turning
The tiny sands drifting down dunes
Shells, mussels and crab remnants
Seagulls pecking at our hollow remains
As you and I drift miles apart
Wandering our eyes out into grey waves
Crashing down shorelines

The textures look so similar that the frog almost looks camouflaged in this B&W photo. Only its shadow gives it away. Nice picture 👏

I found this grey tree frog on the head of my grandmother's concrete porch goose a few years ago. I liked the repetition of the oval shape and the unity of tone and texture. Also, what a cute little frog!
