Adoption is rooted in ownership.
Adoptees are denied the rights to know our families, our cultures and our languages.
It’s extremely problematic to view ownership of people as a right, rather than a VIOLATION of the adoptee’s rights.
If you've never contemplated the negative impacts of baby boxes, I urge you to read this article.
If you care about social justice, you should take the time to understand why these boxes are not the answer.

It absolutely is creepy, I lived it and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I was an emotional support animal.
I don’t want to be adopted anymore. Legally I am a stranger to my family. My adopters can annul but I can’t. I’m an object. I am owned.
There’s no such thing as ethical adoption under capitalism.
