CBC has a number of these conservative talking heads who seem to talk from the songbook. You would think that they would provide insight into the issues facing Canadians. Instead, viewers get conservative talking points.

Grievance politics is a cottage industry in Alberta. The people in Alberta who continually complain about how the rest of Canada doesn't respect or understand them don't seem to have any respect for Canadians.
These ultra right wingers will always want more. Anything you do for them will never be enough. They are ungrateful.
This always has been the go to response from Smith or Kenney and all conservatives whether provincial or federal. The call for separation has been around since the days of Peter Lougheed. The news media has not helped as they do not push back on outrageous comments from conservatives.
Rutte is the new Chamberlain.
This false outrage is humorous. When a liberal crossed over to their side, they touted as standing up for Canada and what a brave action. Political theater can be very tiresome.
It's quite apparent that the Canucks have a management and ownership problem. They fail in leadership and player development among other issues.
I've signed. How about you?
If they spent more time trying to provide legitimate alternatives and improvements legislation, they could show canadians they could govern. Instead it's gotcha moments and filibusters to try to embarrass the government and stop the government from governing.
Wow! Definitely this ๐๐๐๐
Apparently, Kristi Noem has either ignored or has never studied American history. The American government and white settlers of the time systematically attempted to wipe out the indigenous population to take over their lands.
It is quite apparent that Tim is a asshat. I was in public service for close to 38 years, and face to face meetings were always preferred.
It is never going be enough for the likes of Smith and Moe and their supporters. They will destroy everything to make money and insure that their backers make a lot a money. If it means that Coast will look like a wasteland, so be it.
Quite frankly, Canadians are fed up with Americans. The relationship has been one-sided for too long, and there are no viable benefits since trump was president the first time and now. Americans as a whole are quite ignorant of our country, and they continually make no effort to understand us.
That was passive-aggressive.
People need to remember that Trump doesn't care about the American people. He has no empathy or respect for the average American. Negotiating with Trump is very challenging, as he is thin-skinned and will retaliate.
Very sad news. My heart goes out to his family. I followed him on social media and looked forward to his comments regarding health care, particularly during the pandemic.
Sometimes, the good life catches up to you.
Both the Journal and the Herald have become extensions of this governments misinformation. These newspapers have always promoted a more conservative view, but in the past, they were willing to point out failings of the government of the day. Now they are now mouth pieces of the ucp government.
It would not have helped. If he was armed, he was shot from long distance.
When the legacy media refuses to push back on PP when he distorts reality, he gets away with these statements. The prime minister never said there would be no pipelines. He just stated that without a private proponent, one will not be built.
Watching the ucp government and the alberta prosperity project is being at the circus, and then the clown car comes sputtering to the centre ring.
Bonnie is the real deal. She is a typical canadian who appeals to a wide swath of voters.
What is it with alt right premiers across the country and their hatred of bike lanes? With all the issues facing the country and provinces, this is what they focus on.
She would be the best neighbour. Always willing to lend hand.
When I see him and hear him, I am reminded of the song - Aqualung by Jethro Tull.
The problem with alt right on climate change is that they kick it down the road for other generations to deal with the consequences. Their belief is that either its not true or somehow science will find a magic bullet to solve the problem. Just as long it's someone else's problem.
More grade school level writing from an alberta journalist (lol). Many of these journalists should be signing off as UCP communication staff.
At least we will know where many of the alberta racists, anti vaxers, alt rights, and wing nut separatists will be for the day. This province never disappoints when it comes to embracing itself.
It is absolutely bonkers that in American senate and congress that there are politicians who are in the eighties and nineties. These people have been in office so long that they have lost touch with the American public
