Six partially folded red lumps of fabric with a strip of grey interfacing along the bottom of each one
Aaaand hem interfacing done. Now (I think) I'm up to sowing. But first some planning for the rest of the costume, which will be tomorrow because I am beat. This is quite labour intensive I have to say, fun though!

Ironing on the interfacing with a makeshift ironing board. A towel over the table, then the fabric and interfacing, and then a tea towel on top as a fabric protector layer thingy. The iron is sitting on the top slowly ironing the interfacing and fabric together
Four completed pieces of interfacing ironed onto the corresponding red fabric pieces. They are laid out on the table
This is such a budget setup lmao. Major bits of interfacing ironed on, still got some hem allowance areas to figure out though.

Black inner lining with white chalk lines running down the wrong side of the fabric
Pieces of red fabric laid out on my makeshift ironing board, a towel on top of the table. An iron is on the corner
Actually correction, ironing on the interfacing is first. I saw a recommendation online to mark all the wrong sides of the fabric with chalk lines so I went and did that as well

Charcoal interfacing fabric lies on the table with white chalk marks on it. A pair of scissors lies next to it
Aaaand the interfacing. This was annoying because I don't actually need much, but that long one is just slightly longer than the width of the fabric, and more than a meter, so I had to get two metres of this Dx

This new Gorillaz album is very good. I've been enjoying the singles as they came out, but the whole album is just banger after banger

I would expect the US to pretty quickly gain air dominance, something Russia has been unable to do. Once that happens the war looks very different imo

And any attempt to run a command style economy is still going to require cost/benefit analyses to decide is it worth spending E.g. more labour hours running a library, or making more solar panels by running a factory longer

Yeah I read it and the overall point seems to be that you can use money as an arbitrary token in a command style economy to direct where resources should go. Which is true, you can do that!
But it doesn't deal with real resource limits, there's only so much steel/concrete/labour/water available.

I think this is the strongest southerly ever recorded at this station though, all the stronger records are westerly winds funnelling through the Manawatu gorge (except that strongest one that I don't think is real)
