Currently, in WA State, the police department recommends random private practitioners to do psych evals with no standards required for using evidence based assessments. We have plenty of people with unmanaged, and often untreatable, personality disorders in law enforcement, military and healthcare.

Some are well trained. Some aren't. This means we have never managed the mental health status of any of them well. I started writing people like @jayapal.house.gov 10 yrs ago begging for psych evals w/testing for personality traits before we give people medical licenses or badges. Never heard back.
