There's a lot to admire about WEIRD LUCK - rich world, fun characters, plenty of mystery, but what I love about it is the story structure. It's sprawling yet intimate, cleverly coy but earnest.

I give them the grace of that being right before a critical mass of people woke up to the problems of generative AI. as an artist I also had to kick the tires of that machine they were trying to sell us. The real question is do you keep using it when you know what a monster it really is?

“Freaky Tales” is awesome. What a killer movie. 4 interconnected stories from 1987 Oakland. A mix tape full of Rap Battles, Punks vs Neo Nazis at the Gillman, Samurai Sword mayhem and One Last Job. Extremely entertaining. Lotsa familiar faces.
