Finally finished reading S by Koji Suzuki. Loved it. It felt like a proper follow-up to the events in Spiral. My current ranking of The Ring series is (best to least favorite):

Part 3 is my favorite. Jason gets his mask, a biker gang gets massacred, and the final barn scene is amazing. Plus, the speargun and handstand kills are my favorites of the series.

Someone really needs to reboot #TheRing franchise and do the other books justice. None of this Rings nonsense, but actually sticking to the source material. In a perfect world David Lynch would be the director, but I'd settle for Fincher or Eggers.
