So, Virginia here…. We are assigned precincts on our individual records and notified - in writing - when a precinct changes. Did Texas not even do that? And yes, I realize all states do differently.

This week I spoke to an old friend who is living in the Chicago suburbs. She’s a Black American, works for state government, a grandmother.
Twice in two weeks, she was racially profiled by ICE, pulled over in her car, and demanded to prove that she is a citizen.
They have not stopped, anywhere.
Agreed…. No doubt they were all trafficking in sensitive information AND children.

Thanks. I know it seems like a dumb question. Just trying to find “where” in writing that date would have been determine…like state law. It’s a nightmare trying to GOTV as it is and these shifting dates aren’t helping (not your fault). We knew they might but Dept of Elections is still showing June.
