"Play" requires the card to resolve, right? Would a 2nd cleave that resolves trigger darius?

I was added to a list of theological fascists to avoid. I think some scraping occured and they found my reference to the, antagonistic, faction of puritanical technotheists that exist solely in my game world.
Ok but this is literally an episode of The Batman and it immediately goes horroribly

Artem, dressed in his dark robe, talking with what he thought was a raccoon, but is actually the Lord of Trash, a lower domain god. The little guy prefers the title of Trash God.
It's come to my attention that it is Raccoon day, and I can't imagine the wrath I would face from the Trash God himself if we did not pay proper respects. All hail the lord of trash and his raccoon form.

Had the same thought. Wife and I shared pc pass for a while now, but even that just isn't worth passively having for us when theres an outrageous amount of titles worth the price tag
Summon a blood clot homunculus, shield yourself in gore, and fling a poison swamp at the self-righteous server rack.
Turn-based combat has never made more sense. #indiedev #pixelart #screamfest
Back from the void. The Watcher's Curse dev logs resume. Hollow Veil isn't going to document itself, and apparently neither is this game's development. Steam Scream Fest in October. Demo's live if you're into cosmic horror detective work and gods with questionable hygiene.

Still writing. Still alive.
Real good stuff
Admittedly this is from someone who also enjoys tcg, gunpla, and custom keyboards so my perspective could be skewed
Dollars to hours of entertainment can have a lot of variance, but its pretty common for me to hit $1:hour on most titles. I also usually know going in if that's not likely. Hardware costs can be burdensome, but a bit of patience can make vg a reasonably priced hobby
I know not the point but this color pallet is outstanding
Adding controller support has by far been the most challenging task for me. Having designed for m+kb first I had to completely change perspectives with how controllers navigate the UI.
Mostly been focusing on music for the next village/zone and i think all the demo tracks are done for now. It's been a nice break from coding, but its time to start building again :)

Are episodic releases still viable in today's market? The Watchers Curse has a format that works in that release structure, but not sure if it requires being a known brand to succeed at it at this point e.g. deltarune or telltale

I was on the fence of how to tackle each village. Synthy Ambient is in my pocket, but using a different genre to best match each village is such a narrative boon
I'll do an actual post later w the audio but tracking demos for the mushroom village is going so well. Fat wall of sound.
Did i think I'd go bald before I released my game? Yes. Did I think a western empire would collapse before I released my game? As of late, also yes
There's like 6 weeks of January left
