Ah ok. There are some difference between US and EU. E-start was "factory" in europe. Honda made a deal with Dallara in italy to sell the xr650r with E-start, so from a registration pov a lot of the bikes sold in europe were not even labelled as honda on the VIN plate. dallaramoto.com/xr650r_new.htm
Pardon my ignorance. Was that a xr600 with a big bore kit or a xr650r?
Mine is a Dallara xr650r borne with electric start.
If a my 650r had been my first, I would not have survived...
