OOH, for me personally, I'd probably prefer just having a web version i could simply bookmark and open when i need it, especialy if it's tied to the con website... but a lightweight app isn't the end of the world, and potentially wouldn't need another sign-in, so i could go either way

I would generally feel more comfortable grabbing it from an app store, and for a lot of users, that would probably be more convenient, as on certain mobile devices you need to enable a specific option to allow third-party app installs from web browsers
