Actress Catherine O'Hara in the original Beetlejuice.
Bummed to hear that Catherine O'Hara has left us. She seemed to have been enjoying a resurgence recently, with her coming back in Beetle juice 2. RIP.
Is Brain Boy attacking her? Or is he saving her? From what, actually? So many questions....
Very happy to see Sinners get so many nominations. I'm also extremely pleased to see Amy Madigan get a well deserved nom for her superb work in Weapons. I hope everybody wins. I'll be rooting for them.
Picture of actor Tom Baker on Doctor Who.
Happy 92nd birthday to Tom Baker, one of my favorite actors to play Doctor Who.

It's all about the oil. It always is.
I was around when MTV first made its debut. I recall them running commercials without sound at first, but then they ran regular commercials like everyone else.
I stopped watching MTV for good back when they stopped showing music videos, replacing them with these shitty "reality" shows.
Happy New Year! May 2026 be a good one for you.

I saw Yvonne Craig, who played Batgirl on the 1960s Batman TV series, walk right past me at a SF/horror convention. Never said a word to her.
Just found out that we've lost Jimmy Hunt a few months back. The original Invaders From Mars, in which he starred as a child actor, is one of my favorite films, thanks to its notable dreamlike imagery.

The recent passing of Bob Burns made me take another look at a model kit diorama that I made a while back. It's Bob guest starring in an episode of Scooby Doo.

Picture shows a cat sticking it head into a package with a tiger's head on the side. The cat and the tiger picture match up perfectly.
Picture of soldiers in front of Big Cypress Lodge, a pyramid-shaped hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. Text says It is 2025 BC. I am a soldier from one of the outlying provinces called to defend the pyramid in Memphis. It is 2025 AD. I am a soldier from one of the outlying provinces called to defend the pyramid in Memphis.
Oh, the more it changes, the more it stays the same,
And the hand just rearranges the players in the game.

Hate to hear this. She was a wonderful actress.
