I once received a receipt in a coffee shop that read: 'You were served by Jesus'.
I went to a lovely drawing session last week and I've talked about it in my latest blog post: cathrynworrell.com/blog/one-way... #sketchbook #artists #draweveryday
I'm considering On1 at the moment as a Lightroom replacement. Would you love to hear people's experience with it.
Thank you Angela. I've used Affinity Photo before, although I found it was more like Photoshop than Lightroom. They've also paused sales for now because they're announcing something new next week so I'm keeping an eye on that to see what happens.
Does anyone know a good alternative to Adobe Lightroom? Something simple and lightweight for photo editing that works on Android and PC? #photoediting #photography #photographersonbluesky
Happy Birthday! A gift that keeps you well fed sounds (and looks) perfect. β€οΈ

Well those things we stop doing are always waiting for us if we ever want to get back into them. I hope you're having a good week.
Thanks Julian. I was planning to leave them in black and white. They felt like a very low pressure way to get last some anxiety I've felt around drawing recently.
An open sketchbook on a desk showing some black line drawings of trees. Alongside is an orange pen, pencil sharpener, jar of pencils and a small bowl of pencil shavings.

Capitalism teaches us itβs wrong to rest.
Ableism teaches us being sick means weβve failed.
Fascism teaches us that disabled people are expendable.
None of it is true. Itβs ok to rest. In fact, for most of us itβs necessary.
Disability is not a moral failing and none of us are expendable.

Hello. I'm Cathryn, a self-taught artist & illustrator in the UK. I love playing in sketchbooks & encouraging myself and others to embrace the wonkiness of our drawings on Patreon. No real BSky tips other than to explore starter packs and hashtags to find nice people to connect with. π
