I do a lot of constant hands on work at my FT so I probably won't be able to do quick sketches, but I might try the later half!! I've done traditional art for longer too so maybe that might help

I feel kinda helpless about it sometimes because I loveee creative output of arts but I cant afford to cut my hours either :( Like sure I make money from commissions but I'm too nervous to solely rely on them and burn out

Artist friends who also work fulltime, how do y'all maintain creative motivation after you clock out? Every morning I wake up for work I think about stuff I'd like to draw or work on but then once I come home I feel like I never have the energy or desire to 😭

ppl who still commission their favourite artists even in this era where everyone is broke and genAI is being pushed on us at every opportunity—you are appreciated more than words can express!!!
