Hi I'm Paul (@paulgolin.bsky.social). I post pictures of my #philately collection at https://www.instagram.com/JustAboutStamps. I have a giant tattoo across my chest that says PHILATELY LIFE! (Not really.)

Awful story about the U.K. Postal System. Kafkaesque, dystopian, whatever you want to call it.... www.nytimes.com/2025/07/10/w...
Nice coverage of this upcoming USPS issue, which looks beautiful.
Wow an Inverted Jenny currently on sale on eBay by a known/trusted stamp dealer!
Note: He was a Hungarian-born Jewish American; it's not the same as "Hungarian-American." His family fled anti-Semitic pogroms in Hungary and he claimed to have been born in Wisconsin to distance himself, yet remained Jewishly-identified his whole life. blog.nli.org.il/en/harry-hou...
DeJoy got a LOT of hate from stamp collectors over the years, much deserved, but I am giving him a ton of credit for this:
"When DOGE officials arrived at postal headquarters, DeJoy refused to give them broad access to agency systems..."

In September 2023, I wrote a short article for American Philatelist Magazine about my experience introducing stamp collecting to a class of 2nd graders, including my daughter. Highly recommended, would do again.
In November 2022, I wrote an article for the Jewish News of Northern California, about upcoming stamps from the USPS that had Jewish themes.
In August 2022, I was interviewed by the American Philatelic Society about my stamp collecting. It was an honor!
I'm a Twitter refugee.
