That's fair. You had said that gaming sucks still on linux, and in my experience, that's opposite of the truth, so thought it worth mentioning :) I can't argue that its a bit of a hassle to make the switch, just that I think its worth the effort once you have. But only you know whats right for you

That said, I have a full AMD setup (CPU and GPU) so... ymmv if you use Nvidia. From what I understand that's pretty good now on Linux too though *shrugs*

I've been on Linux now for a little over 2 years and my primary use is gaming and game development... I've had no issues on Linux tbh. In most cases I've experienced better performance and stability than I did on Windows. Anticheat is the only issue remaining, but I don't play PVP anymore anyways

As someone who hates making friends, and tends to end relationships over moral mismatches (where the other person has a moral stance I just cannot be okay with)... I sure feel like I'm running out of friends lol

To be honest, there have been so many issues with discord over the years that I think a lot of us are just one small thing away from leaving it. Regardless of nuance, having a company with a proven questionable past, including around data security, require photos and ID to use it fully is enough

One of our cats had to be rushed to a vet hospital yesterday and spent 24 hours in there. While talking to the vets they asked "is it okay if we use AI to record this conversation as text"... And like... I get why that would be useful but ugh -.-
