Similar when I was doing Teedubs. One game there was a guy asking how many corners there had been and I kept giving him obviously wrong numbers. He got pretty grumpy pretty quickly.
I can see why a manager might be reluctant to take a punt post ACL. Ikonomidis hasn't looked the best after his. But yeah, teams who aren't planning on using all of their imports should really be looking to undertapped areas for hidden gems
Reckon that's a bit harsh. He got double promotion in Sweden, was playing in the top tier before doing his ACL, and then released. Did a season back in NZ as part of his rehab before getting picked up by Auckland.
