Once a restaurant gets burned too many times that becomes the policy and they have all the right in the world to do that.
With third-party apps making reservations for people, the problem has expanded by leaps and bounds.
As restaurant owner. you would not believe the amount of reservations that people make and don’t show up. Often they make reservations at a number of restaurants, wait for everybody to decide which one they want to use. But they don’t cancel the reservations that they made & are not showing up for.
