Practically the same boat. I had no idea about the state of RAM prices when I started but I was gonna buy over the course of a few months.

Wife saw me start and told me a GPU was my Christmas gift so I said no waiting for prices to go up. Might as well finish ASAP.

This is a month in the making so I didn’t catch the worst of it but it was still up there. Sadly.

This time around it’s the actual cost, not even the percentage. They’re past the monthly $ amount to make this worth it. Like if they went from $10 to $15 I don’t think there’d be an uproar like this, but anything above $25 is doomed to fail IMO.

I’m just saying I’d gladly pay if I felt like the value of this value service bundle was actually super valuable. Right now that’s missing for me. We hit the threshold of actual value vs. perceived value.

It’s still a value, and I’m personally happy with the addition of Fortnite Crew, but it takes too much math to understand the value.

Remember the 80’s when both A&W and Burger King created a 1/3lb burger to take on the Quarter Pounder but people thought 4 was BIGGER than 3 so they both failed?!

Look, I’m a whale when it comes to gaming media so this price change isn’t going to make me cancel, but I think this Xbox Game Pass price hike is an immeasurable disservice to the gaming community.

$360 a year?! At this point we should just buy the games and play online for free.

It’s either watching the Mariners try to clinch or this. Really tough to decide.

Look I may not be THAT elder in ‘86, but my little sister being a Millennial in ‘96 makes me feel that way.

I feel you on the Elder Millennial part. Never got into Pokémon back in the day, but when I was getting Liam into it I just picked a set and ran with it. Focused on that set. Learned the card numbers, rarities, and looking up the set list we were chasing.

The mobile game helps now too.

I used to RELY on this thing.
