Okay, another tracker question! Does the -55 designation for starting mileage represent the group running the 400-mile race? I thought so, but it doesnβt seem accurate.

Thanks!
When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.
On the tracking sheet, what does the capital H mean next to some runnersβ names?
If they wanted to supply the stories⦠well, I am an editor and I own a publishing company. :)
Yes! Thank you!!
"Sorry, this page isn't available."
They did not finish Loop 1 by the cutoff, no. But they definitely started. And had a marvelous time.
I have that one, but itβs missing the one runner I care about. Iβll just ask them next week when theyβre home.
I see they posted a photo of the gate on FB. But thatβs probably as public as theyβre going to be. (And theyβre pretty inactive on FB and not connected to many people.)
Thanks, that makes sense.
Gotcha, thanks! Iβll wait a few days and then just ask the runner I care about for their time. Are they allowed to tell me?
I got my Kamaka koa soprano as a child in Hawaii (sorry, no idea which store! as it was over 50 years ago), a carbon fiber tenor and a carbon fiber banjolele from Outdoor Ukulele in Oregon, and a baroque-ulele from Folk Friends in Germany. Love them all!
Yes, thatβs the one Iβve been checking. I was wondering if it would be updated after the race was completed to include all those who started.
Iβm hoping for an answer from an actual person, not AI.
Does anyone know if there will ever be a list of everyone who ran in the Barkley Marathons this year? I've seen two partial lists, but now that it's over, will they post all the names anywhere? #bm100
Email sent to FDA staff informs that agency leadership canceled the agency's LexisNexis subscription, even though staff need this tool to research legal and regulatory information as part of their jobs.
I'm reproducing the text of the email here:

If you've never heard of the Barkley Marathons, do yourself a favor and look it up (there's a great documentary)! You're missing the world's weirdest and possibly most grueling endurance race. It's being live skeeted!! #BM100
Iβm trying to remember if Nahum ever made it to NYC. He died in Los Angeles, and my father was born there. Miriam (Goldina, his wife) moved to NYC, where my dad grew up. She acted in various things and gave acting lessons.
I can ask my dad the next time we talk, but Iβm pretty certain he wonβt know.
Iβve heard various stories from my family, but probably without much degree of accuracy! I think my father (Charles Zemach) was 8 when his father (Nahum) died. And Miriam always pls fast and loose with facts. She just made things up that followed her heart.
Wow. Iβve never seen this before! Miriam & Nahum were my grandparents.
Maybe because of Nachumβs untimely death?
Thank you for this. <3

One thing we liked about T-Mobile was that they guaranteed our rate for life when we signed up. Now they've announced they're raising our rates. How is this possible?
