Trump sues IRS and Treasury for $10 billion over leaked tax information President Trump is suing the IRS and Treasury Department for $10 billion, accusing them of failing to prevent a leak of his tax information to news outlets.

Americans can't afford groceries, but Trump wants his billions.

The Challenger shuttle disaster that killed 7 crew members was 40 years ago. What happened and how they're being remembered. The diverse 7-member crew included a teacher who was going to teach lessons from space.

Forty years ago, today, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in mid air after being launched, killing all 7 crew members; one was a school teacher. It was a sad day for space travel & history.

There is no level to which these heartless shit-for-brains won’t stoop to inflict cruelty and suffering.

ICE is lurking around Albany elementary schools. That they are allowed anywhere near schools is ridiculous. There’s no reason why they need to be walking the same halls a babies. None.

Screenshot of a data visualization titled β€œThe Cost of American Exceptionalism,” subtitled β€œWhat would change if the U.S. matched the OECD average?” The page explains that each card shows how outcomes would change if the U.S. matched the average of 31 peer democracies. Below, a section labeled β€œEconomy & Inequality” displays eight cards comparing U.S. figures to OECD averages. Highlights include: +$19K per household per year in redistributed income and +$96K in redistributed wealth if the top 1% matched OECD shares; a 71% lower CEO-to-worker pay ratio (from 354Γ— to 101Γ—); 50 million more workers with union coverage; 26 million more people with health insurance; $2.1 trillion saved annually in healthcare spending; $691 less per person per year in prescription drug costs; and intergenerational economic mobility being twice as high. Each card shows the U.S. value alongside the OECD average.

If there's one empirical insight I'd want everyone to understand about American politics, it's this:

America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.

What would change if the US simply matched the average of 31 peer democracies? Not Denmark or Norway. Just the middle of the pack. 🧡

Just a reminder that research from social scientists and historians for years has shown that the modern conservative movement can be largely traced to racial integration. See Kevin Kruse’s book β€œWhite Flight” for one of the best example of this work. @kevinmkruse.bsky.social

It is tragic that President Trump, who I do not support, and Nicolas Maduro, who I do not support, didn't join forces with Vladimir Putin, who I do not support, to form the greatest alliance the world has ever known, which I would not support.

The top 15 billionaires got $1T richer in 2025.

Remember the all the handwringing that stimulus checks were too generous and ruined the economy?

If we’d sent that $1T to households instead, total stimulus would’ve exceeded all 3 pandemic check rounds combined.

How is this the responsible option?
