a significant portion of people i know have escaped from mormonism or evangelical christianity, and are still being pursued by those forces both as an act of revenge and an attempt to mitigate attrition

totally understand. i cannot attest to how exact it is but i haven't heard complaints from anyone i know who has done it. some folks i know switched to tidal and have similar experiences. both pay artists more but i think qobuz more than tidal?

from going to the Qobuz site for the first time to having an account with all my spotify music on it was like 10 mins. Will take a little longer with more music.

The music platform i switched to it Qobuz. There's a site called Soundiiz you can use to transfer music from spotify to other music platforms. Qobuz has that built in so it's very easy, a few buttons. If you have a lot of music you may need to pay $5 to transfer it all.
