I have seen a lot of cursed stuff in my time in academia but this is among the *most* cursed.
Grammarly is generating miniature LLMs based on academic work so that users can have their writing ‘reviewed’ by experts like David Abulafia, who died less than two months ago.

Title: "Unprepared for a Regrettable Luncheon! (With apologies to Kelly)" In the visual style of famed The Onion cartoonist Stan Kelly, Superintendent Chalmers is having lunch with Principal Skinner, who is menacingly placing a tray of hamburgers and fries upon the table, which greatly upsets Chalmers. Lady Liberty peeks in the door and sheds a sad tear at this woeful scene. Kelly's obligatory artist cameo has him disgruntledly commenting "Seymour-a bore-e-malice."

What's the best newsletter creating website out there? I need something free, for just a handful of subscribers, that allows me to add a few images. For our podcast we're creating the document on Google Docs and then copying and pasting it to the email, we lose images and format in the process

With so many eyes on Image releases, do check out Malevolent. Had it come out after D'orc 1 and not before, it would definitely be right there with White Sky as the comic to look for. There are some great ideas in play here, I just hope it can have enough runway to catch on.

As more and more casual comics fans get onto BlueSky, I wanted to explain what FOC is because I see lots of abbreviation from creators. It means Final Order Cutoff, essentially the last day you can order the book and ensure you will get it before the publisher takes order numbers to the printer. 👍
