The algorithms HATED this video and it was restricted (and flopped), but I still think it's a really fun watch. Especially for the electric vs combustion challenges.
Guaranteed enjoyment from this free entertainment or your money back! 😄

Another great video from months ago was this ride-along in a battery powered New Zealand police car. We even pulled someone over for speeding. This easy to watch video actually took MONTHS to organise. 😬

More 300 kW units being installed at ChargeNet's Bombay Hills site.
I count six chargers, meaning there'll soon be rapid charging here for EIGHTEEN clean vehicles at once.
It's a lot like Stonehenge... but useful. 😀
New Zealand has yet ANOTHER new electric vehicle on the market! This is the Riddara RD6 pickup truck. Supposedly it does 0-100 in 4.5 seconds and goes off road... They put all-terrain tires on it for me so let's find out! 😁
My review of the country's newest electric pickup truck is suspiciously well. Even the EV haters are being civil in the comments.
Is this Chinese, battery powered ute bringing us all together at last? Something fishy is going on. 🤨

Wow! New car news! The MG IM6 is now on sale in NZ & Australia in 3 flavours:
IM6 Premium: $66,900 > 450 km WLTP range > 217 kW (RWD) > 75 kWh LFP.
IM6 Platinum: $77,900 > 555 km WLTP range > 300 kW (RWD) > 100 kWh NMC.
IM6 Performance: $89,900 > 505 km WLTP range > 572 kW (AWD) > 100 kWh NMC.
Great to see some really compelling EVs hitting the road.
Legacy automakers take note, you're already too late
Just saw a person writing that they've bought an electric car but asked about how long charging takes, the costs, and if you can just use a trickle charger at home instead of public chargers.
I'm sure you also see these questions often so I put all the answers into this plain-English video.
The Zeekr 7X rapid charges in 13 minutes, costs less than a Tesla Model Y and is coming to New Zealand in just a few weeks. I was at the launch in Australia yesterday and had a bit of fun in one. 😁

🎥 It's China vs America today as I put the refreshed Tesla Model Y up against the BYD Sealion 7 to find out which is better.
Only one car can win, so grab your popcorn!
Reminder: it's just a car video and I'm just a human (barely) so go easy on the hatred if your preferred car doesn't win. 😅

Got a fresh, new car review of this Chinese-German oddity.
Warning: if you don't share my vids then you can't complain about how long the Allegro EV conversion is taking due to a lack of money. How's that for emotional manipulation? 😄

Now you need a second more casual channel and some merch
Sealion 7
This was a fun road trip. I did more than 550 km on one charge in hilly New Zealand conditions. Not bad.

Stuffs Sealion 7 review
IMO a very cushy luxurious vehicle to own. Gorgeous cabin and very very quiet
I hope they can improve the driving dynamics on it

Fast charging isnt but comparable to the Chinese SUVs in this price range
I took a V8 loving kiwi influencer for a blast in a performance electric car.
Not sure if she's going to run out and sell her gas car tomorrow but I've definitely planted a seed. ⚡🌱
