I never realized how close friends they were on my first read until I read Pridelord. Now thinking about them, especially as I'm reading the series a second time, always makes me sad. From their banters alone, it's now clear to me how much they care for each other.

Man, quitting Discord would be tough. It is uncomfortably engrained in my life. I don’t think there’s any platform that would be harder to leave.
I don’t plan on quitting—If I get locked in “teen-appropriate” mode, that’ll hardly change anything for me—but I’m just thinking about eventualities.
Yeah, I can't leave Discord either. The communities and friend groups I'm a part of are all there. Losing this would mean I lose almost everyone online that matters to me. I have however cancelled my Nitro subscription today. And they are not getting my ID or my face. Too bad for the adult channels.
