Iโve been wanting one for a long time for my art and paper crafting, and at this point, I think itโll be more efficient (and safer ๐ฅฒ) than trying to cut a straight line with just scissors.

I havenโt had a ton of time to work on personal projects since my grandma passed, but I did want to announce that I have my Macbook finally.
I downloaded Glaze this morning, and I had to bumble around to get it running, mainly because I havenโt been able to find 1/-

I just finalised the page layout of my book in minutes, using little squares of paper AND MY BRAIN.
A good paper is definitely a non-negotiable for me for watercolor. I LOVE hot pressed for the sharpness I can get, but cold pressed is still the most versatile.
To Slay the Great Regurgitator
Photo taken at night looking up at a moon halo or moondog. The moon is slightly off-center with a large ring around it and smaller, less visible concentric rings emanating from the center. A bank of clouds is illuminated across the lower right of the image. The sky is an almost blueish grey, and with the white light contrasting with the darker shadows underneath the clouds, it adds to the mysterious aura of the photo.
Itโs a good time to think about what changes might be on the way for me. Some things, I canโt control; but others I can.

Much needed updates.
1. Hemlock was presented at CCS in Oct. We are working on releasing a usable tool in coming weeks.
2. Our next paper is peer-reviewed & accepted by USENIX Security 2026. It is a Model Provenance tool that computes "feature fingerprints" from genAI image models.
Due to a few different factors, I believe that home hospice is how weโre going to handle things.
I am not 100% certain how it will work out, but I have been told what to expect, and I have a good support system in place during this time. 2/-
I havenโt really talked about it here on ๐ฆ, but for the past 11 years, I have been acting as a full time caregiver to my grandma.
Now, over the past 4 months, her condition has severely declined, so all of my time and energy has been focused on her needs, and making her as comfortable as I can. 1/-
I'm convinced that a sign of getting old is how I keep buying new and fancy potato chip flavours, getting 1/3rd of the way through the bag and realizing I actually just want sour cream and onion.
My office has been flooded with reports of the cruel, unsafe, unlawful conditions inside of the Whipple detention facility in Minneapolis.
