Let's take a ride... My next book is coming out with @faberbooks.bsky.social. Tales of the Suburbs: LGBTQ+ Lives Behind Net Curtains will be published March 12 2026. Preorder links in profile, and lots more on the book and the remarkable stories people told me to come over the next few months...

Johns book - Tales of the Suburbs - comes out tomorrow, and I’m very honoured to say that I am one of the contributors to this fantastic project.
Huge thanks to John for this great opportunity πŸ™πŸΌ

β€œβ€¦countries and cities still have the nerve to claim wider roads and highways will improve congestion (they won’t, they’ll induce more driving/traffic) and reduce emissions/pollution (they’ll do the opposite – we’ll have more cars in the same or worse congestion emitting a lot more).”

I think we need to rake out the arisings that couldn't be removed rom our pond at KIlsby Lane LWS nr.Rugby. Water has filled the pond and floated them and they're rotting causing algal growth. A job for next week's work party. Grassland management done and ongoing.

Great news on one level... but also an example of nature being pushed to the absolute fringes, in isolated, inaccessible places. Is this as good as it gets for nature in Britain? Are railway and roadside verges the few places nature can exist in modern Britain?

The enigmatic sight and sounds of Ravens at WKH will fit the emerging landscape perfectly. Fantastic project with a trio of approaches.

No bribery involved in this capture as this particular Jay seemed quite chilled in my presence .. which is rare I grant .. but I still had to do some stealthy slow moves to get that little bit closer 😊

Sorry, but the page you are looking for could not be found.

Excellently written article on the disturbing and blatant greed, grift & corruption of the Yorks. "The gift of Andy and Fergie, which comes at too high a price, has been to bring the antiseptic of daylight to the culture of royal privilege."

#Crows get a bad press sometimes and we forget how vital these clever corvids are & also how useful to us humans.
Here's a crow showing just how useful, vigorously muckspreading while feeding in the #chalkgrassland on the #SouthDowns.
