We call on all countries that maintain good relations with Israel—yet continue to sit on CEIRPP—to follow Ecuador’s strong moral leadership.
CEIRPP was created by the infamous “Zionism = Racism” U.N. General Assembly resolution of 1975. That resolution was repealed, but CEIRPP lives on, actively pushing BDS and the demonization of Israel.
We praise Ecuador’s decision to withdraw from the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP), an anti-Israel propaganda body housed within the U.N. bureaucracy.
Tonight’s State of the Union addressed issues central to B’nai B’rith’s mission: Israel’s security, Iran’s nuclear threat, combating anti-Semitism and supporting affordable housing and health care for low-income seniors.

While in Israel for the sixth Hellenic American-American Jewish mission to Israel, Greece and Cyprus, President Rob Spitzer and CEO Dan Mariaschin met with Argentina’s Ambassador to Israel Shimon Axel Wahnish (second from right). They were joined by Intl. Board of Governors member Leon Benmoyal.
We condemn the PA’s incendiary draft constitution, which endorses the barbaric “pay-for-slay” policy and the so-called right of return for Palestinian refugees. The document negates any Jewish claim to the land of Israel, conforming instead to the genocidal slogan, “From the river to the sea.”
It then demands that Israel cooperate with U.N. agencies such as OHCHR.
Only the U.N. would call for an embargo on a state—and, in the same breath, demand its cooperation.
The U.N.’s Office of the High Comm. for Human Rights is in full attack mode at the UNHRC session with its latest report. The biased document concludes by urging states not to sell or transfer arms to Israel, calling for the exercise of universal jurisdiction and cooperation with the ICC against it.
