I just 100%ed the game 10 minutes ago and it was a blast! The art direction, combat, story, even Troy Baker came through! The team did a great job on it :) Excited to come back when the DLC releases.
Isn't insipid the same as bland? I guess it depends on which COD entry but at this point the lack of innovation and anything to say gets tiring. That said some random campaign missions still got juice.
