It’s so fascinating to be an illustrator with a f*ckd up sleep pattern. 7-10pm: I’m so tired, I might be dying. 11pm: I’m tired but let’s finish this first; 1am-3am I don’t need sleep I’m a workBEAST. 4am-6am Eh I could just stay up? 6am (birds start chirping) WHAT AM I DOING? SLEEP IS VITAL WTF… 🔄

Since the start of the pandemic, @laureola.bsky.social and I have been taking (almost) daily walks, some days seeking a new East Bay street so I can shoot more stamps. There are now over 1,000 photos in the album.

Jim Parkinson died today. He was a prolific and astoundingly gifted lettering artist, type designer, and painter. I feel lucky to say he was also my friend.
