I wasnβt there, but Iβm hearing that the Platoβs cave version of the halftime show was predictably underwhelming and cringe. Glad I decided on the philosopherβs path instead. #superbowl #halftime #allAmericanBunny

Iβm having a hard time deciding which outcome Iβd rather see at this point.
Itβs absolutely bananas that Thune didnβt go for this. Schumer just handed him a lifeline but he refused it becauseβwhat, it wouldβve saved Republicans from themselves? Now heβs gonna be back to fielding angry calls at all hours from the π about abolishing the filibuster. π€¦πΌββοΈ

The headline says it all. They are more than willing to send money to bail out authoritarian leaders in other countries, but must be dragged kicking and screaming to feed kids at home. Itβs just gross. #thecrueltyisthepoint #SNAP. apple.news/ASOJuVFWaRYe...

Correction: the little blob or black has been incorrectly identified as a pocket square and pocket lining. Fact check: sources confirm this is the black sludge at the core of his soul attempting an escape.

Agreed. The biggest gift they could give him on this one is to save him from himself. Then he can go on blaming them for whatever fresh hell he visits on the US economy but be protected from the worst effects of his idiotic ideas.

Quick question for the political scientists out there:
Whatβs your favorite example of a piece of political science literature being terribly misconstrued in subsequent work?
Iβm looking for some examples for my research design course. Thanks in advance! #PoliSky #Academia #litreviews
This is so normal. And it totally sucks. This is the worst part of the process, in my opinion. But you can only do what you can do. Hopefully, your advisor will help you identify any must-fix things. The rest will have to wait until when/if you decide to revisit them in the future. Good luck! :)
...to make the defense/revisions process as smooth and quick as possible. But it often makes the last few weeks somewhat miserable for students. I think showing up with the low-hanging fruit already handled will show your good faith and then your advisor can help trim down your remaining tasks!
...Hopefully, your advisor will help identify the key adjustments you should make and the others can just go on an "if I have time" list. But I often find that this part is the hardest for students. As an advisor, I try to anticipate what other committee members might have complaints about...
...then you might be able to fix the easy stuff and ask your advisor for some help prioritizing the harder to fix stuff. Sometimes we get into the "zone" and just jot down what we're thinking in the margins, but it doesn't always mean it ALL needs to be done before we'll sign off...
This part is so hard. But it can be a good sign. It can mean that your advisor cares enough to help you make your writing the best it can be. It might help to look through the feedback and rate it: maybe green for "super easy to fix," yellow for "doable to address," etc...
He doesnβt care as much about election denial when it isnβt *HIS* election. I think his election denial is in large part a way to protect his fragile narcissistβs ego. If members of Congress lose, it isnβt actually *him* losing so he can protect his ego without, you know, storming the capitol.

You can use it. Heβs probably 80lbs or so and his nose comes up to my waist. Here he is standing on his hind legs in the shallow end of the pool for reference (you can use this one, too):

Hereβs my derpy Doberman, Moose.
@timmiller.bsky.social I loved the debut of True Crime Timβ’ on the Next Level today. Now do the Trump Models saga. I guess I hadnβt realized how recently that was still happening. It puts the Diddy pardon talk in a whole new light. Itβs all so gross and SO shady.
