Really nice day spent with my MIL and the kids; Spouse Thingy brought MIL to our house and the kids brought the baby. Man, my MIL lit up when she got to hold the baby. LOL *I* didn't because, well, great grandma won't get to see her often...lunch out, baby slept, even the cats were behaving.

We added a third kitty to the house today. Meet Ducky, a 14 week old little boy weighing just under 3 pounds. He's a nonstop play monster; his big brother and sister, CJ and Ozzy, saw him through the gate...and hated him on sight LOL

Under the circumstances, I would have pardoned my kid, too.

Ok, @bsky.app needs a reciprocal follow option to make it easier to follow the people who followed me first. Unless it's there and I just can't find it... But a lot of people followed me on day 1 and I got overwhelmed, and I'd follow back if it were easier. Or I had tons of time...

Made the mistake of telling the cats I needed to run a couple errands, so of course they bolted for the catio and won't come back inside.

My sister was actually in the Gene Wilder version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They filmed in Munich when we lived there, and she was one of the school kids.

And no, I don't think it's truly awful. My work has a following, enough to make the effort worthwhile. Tho any writing is worthwhile--it's just nice to make tens of dollars from it.
