Well we don't have access to the BBC player so not obvious at all!
The RTE player maybe?
Breda OβBrien is spot on in her article in todayβs @irishtimes.com - the Department have decided that bullying teachers into reform is easier than actually funding or supporting it properly.
Just send a video of you holding the phone up to the binoculars and send it on- it's probably a boxing ticking exercise
"Masked security forces captured an opposition leader in the coastal province of New Jersey as regime officials continue their months-long crack-down against pro-democracy elements in the embattled United States. The arrest comes as the regime issued calls for summary detentions without trial."
That's the best solution I think ππ»
You're right about it being hard to enforce but we need to de-normalise kids having smart phones before 16- the damage being done is bonkers- I see it in secondary school classes daily. Concentration has fallen off a cliff since I started 20 years ago.
Screenshot of a Tweet by noted lunatic Laura Loomer. She's replying to the newly-elected head of the Catholic Church with the words 'WOKE MARXIST POPE'.
To the tune of Eric Carmen's 1975 hit All By Myself:
Wikipedia is on the ball- #newpope #vatican
filling time on air until the new pope is announced is known as "pontiffication"
Ring road is needed . It's madness that all traffic from west of Galway city ie the entirety of Connemara has to travel through Galway city centre to get to east of
Galway city ie towards the capital city and all Airports. Remove this traffic from Galway city please!
I think people travelling from the suburbs to town would feel safer cycling if there was less traffic also
Agreed- everyone moving from Connemara to east of Galway city has to drive through Galway city centre which is madness- remove the traffic that doesn't need to be in town- wide new bridge desperately needed.
I haven't wanted to rewatch a film in the cinema as much as Sinners in a long time!
Not for the faint of heart π

They banned drink on good Friday, see, on account of the Romans. So we'd all buy cans on the Thursday. "Gimme a bag o cans", you'd say. 'Course back then they were a pound a can, so you could fill a bag. A pound was what they called Euros...
A printed book page with the closing paragraph of Mary Shelleyβs Frankenstein. Below the final printed words, the following handwritten paragraph: As he drifted away I could just make out his final words. βItβs ok if you just call me βFrankensteinβ instead of βFrankensteinβs Monster.β I really donβt mind.β
I can never forget that ending. Stays with you like the Arctic wastes themselves.
A light blue diagram depicting the sea, with the water's surface at the top, and just below it is an outline of the Mary Rose, with the depth (12m, 40ft or 6.7 fathoms). There is a line showing the seabed, which takes a rapid dive into the vertical...
On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,
"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"
Allow our scaled diagram to explain...
At last!! Well done Rory. Now every single person on this island can finally move on with our lives. #masters
#masters He did it the hard way! Congrats Rory! So happy for him.
"No matter how corrupt, greedy, and heartless our government, our corporations, our media, and our religious & charitable institutions may become, the music will still be wonderful. If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music."
RIP Kurt Vonnegut. Gone 18 yrs. Dang.
My cinema has no mobile coverage- bliss.
Just saw the topic today and would have been interested but evenings are tough with getting small kids to bed!
