you can not understand or dislike things, and have personal reasons for it! that's okay! but to dislike doesn't give the right to disrespect, when the things, once again, aren't hurting anyone or anything. discomfort is an unavoidable part of life at times, not a ticket to harass someone.

i have adopted a "if it doesn't hurt anything or anyone it's not my business" mindset a long time ago. there's things i don't understand, don't like but I'd rather be in a room with feral freaks, pups, siskissers and babyfurs than among even a few people that say that we should "appeal to the hets"

liberate your mind and soul, you don't have to live your life through old internalized beliefs and by appealing to those who want us gone. we're inherently a part of it, whether they like it or not, and the world should mature and accept the queer condition, instead of us laying down and complying

The bans and restrictions use the "controversial" nature of those things exactly as leverage, and one day it's weird kinky shit and then in two years time its transgender expression and in four it's any and all queer expression. We all are fucked, it's just a matter of time when it happens
