Ever since the unique entity known as Alnair was born, they have been subjected to extreme experiments every single day. Without even the love of their own mother, I believe they lived through truly miserable days. This is just a sketch of that idea.

Magic Systems are so fun to think about but WOW it is difficult to design a magic system with proper limitations, strengths, weaknesses and that feels simple enough to not just overwhelm the reader.

I've been pushing myself to draw more lately and markers have really been clicking with me. Here's a little Vivi I did in my bullet journal to fill a blank space on my calendar page last month.

I want to write a short story talking about what a "Seal" is exactly in Sientro, and about Tàiliàng's past. Maybe that'll be the next thing I write after I finish what I'm working on right now. To keep it short, though, they carry the powers of the Old Gods of Sientro...

Some people call Tàiliàng a demon because... Well, he's so unlike what a "Seal" or priest is meant to be. They're meant to be saints, but Tàiliàng is more akin to a dictator that rules with an iron fist. Plus, his horns (and his height!) make him look like a demon despite the halos he has.

It's really funny thinking about how much Tàiliàng has changed over the years... When I first started thinking about him 5 or 6 years ago, he used to be a really kind and selfless character who cared more about others than himself.
Now he's the complete opposite, he's really scary LMAO

Hi! I wrote a short story (1.3K words, or 7 minutes-ish) about Tàiliàng after a failed assassination attempt. I did it to practice a little bit with flash fiction, and I was quite happy with the result! Feel free to tell me what you think.

But giving myself an achievable goal gives me that little kick of discipline, while also (most importantly) making me feel okay with stopping. Like, I achieved my objective, so there's no need to feel guilty or bad for taking a break! It helps!

Something that I've realized works REALLY well for myself is setting a short realistic objective for the day (when it comes to writing, or work, or something like that). Often, if I don't do that, depression and negativity creep in and nothing feels like enough.
