The last month of my life has been a total roller coaster.

Live streaming on eBay every single day as part of the Canadian launch project while running the business full time has left almost no room for anything else.

I am grateful for the opportunity. More tired than ever, but building.

Back to 15 hour work days for the first time in years.

At first it feels exciting. Momentum. Progress. Fire.

Then the compounding effect hits fast. Fatigue stacks. Decisions get heavier. Time disappears.

Building isn't always glamorous. Sometimes it's just endurance.

The last two weeks of my life basically vanished. Staff theft. Constant police calls, lawyers, and digging through records. About 50k stolen in a single day. It's just exhausting. When does it slow down? 🫠

Small business ain't for everyone...

Fun fact: writers don't 'finish' books, we just eventually stop editing before we spiral into madness.

Being an author is such a strange experience.

One reader leaves a 5-star review calling it the best book they've ever read. The next leaves 1 star and says they couldn't get past page ten.

Same book. Same words. Completely different worlds.

I am indeed! I've heard a lot of people compared to a D&D campaign. I think it may be because the characters are more human than 'main characters' 😅

2016 challenge!

What a different life I was living. It is absolutely insane how much can happen in a decade.

It's disturbing seeing how many people use A.I. to fill out their job applications.

As someone who reads about 500 resumes a week, seeing the same odd, very specific answers in the same words on most applications is incredibly disappointing... 🫠

All this to say, BE ORIGINAL!

An older woman came into my shop today to sell old silver coins.

The total was just over $1,000. She didn't celebrate.

She panicked, afraid, declaring it would affect her pension. Wild how systems meant to help can make people live in fear when not properly educating the public.

Turns out 12 holes in the wall later, I'm less talented with mounting shelves than I anticipated.

No no we have many people come in just cleaning the house or it's passed down from a relative. They definitely weren't hurting for money, just didn't have a use for it .

Today someone walked into the shop with a 1972 Canadian $5 error note. Wild miscut and super clean. You never know what's going to walk through the door in the collectibles world. Always fun seeing pieces like this show up!
