Thanks for sharing. I've noticed a pattern with the AIs. The more experienced you are, and the deeper you look - the more inaccuracy and weirdness you find.
Make no mistake though, it's gotten so good now for the major languages and it's coming for all "normal" code - in a good way! Haskell too ;)

Right now I'd bet on the owning class. It's so pricy to develop and run these things. You can't do that on local computers unless you spend, idk, 10k USD. And even then it's not as good.
If you want to use AI to do some thing bigger like coding an app or a website, there is a huge advantage if you pay for the premium models.
AI is certainly not distributed fairly. Like most things in this world I suppose
Hey, I skimmed the OP's thread and there are a lot of very smart people in AI who share those concerns. Job displacement is my biggest concern.
I think one can get a lot of good AI for free today - most consumers just want chatgpt. If you want more, you get quite a bit for $20/month

Don't know anything about rust but it seems good for the AI to have them in the same file - and context windows will keep on getting longer so less of an issue in the future. Or are these tests really verbose?
In typescript the AI is much better at using inline css (tailwind) than separate files

If so, then you could show this to the users and they can be made aware that their content is being shown on platforms they might not know about.

Yea, you can have a label on your account that shows your most proudly worn blocklist but others need to subscribe to the labeler to see it
Hmm, it usually does server components for me without me asking. I don't even prompt it too, except for having this in my claude.md or cursorfile.
