Mind-controlling Bugs is on the Children's Book Council of Australia book of the year longlist in the Eve Pownall (non-fiction) category. They announce the shortlist later in the year.

The year went by so quickly.
There are still more zombie critters being discovered - including a species of purple cordyceps parasitic fungus that was found in Brazil.

Over 20 copies of the bug book in libraries in Singapore.
They have a much bigger selection of parasite books for kids than I would have expected.

Thank you. I did the donut tutorial a while back, but not much of it has stayed with me.
There are so many cool things you can do with Blender. It just takes forever to learn how to do them. :)
I've been learning Blender (a 3D graphics program). Most of the things I make are still by following tutorials, but I'm slowly improving.
We went on the State Library's tour yesterday where they let you into the library before opening hours and you can see some of the old catalogs.
