Next up is improving the gills shape and controls
I'll do a full thread asap for a better breakdown

Procedurally made mushrooms in Blender3d using Geometry Nodes grown on a skull
A bit more progress on my procedural mushrooms
I managed to add veils (those little curtains under the cap)
These are not instances, they are each individually deformed to the curve (stem) thanks to a technique from Erindale's YT channel
This technique also allows for unique caps

Great to see new people joining BlueSky
In the light of all major platforms bowing to authoritarians, I'm planning to move all my activities here
I've been working on a geometry node base mushroom generator for a few weeks now using Blender3d
The simulation helps have a more dynamic reaction to the environment
I've been adding more controls to the appearance of the mushrooms more lately
The composition is based on a Gwent card from Witcher
Beautiful work - I had to crank up the brightness of my screen on my phone to see the details, was defs worth it
Here is a still screenshot without attractors/food in place
Please give the video 4 seconds to get *there*
Credit to SeanTerelle on YT, I am expanding past the tutorial he made
So far managed to add attractors
Many other behaviours to be coded

Beautiful! The colour combination especially is very inspiring
Geometry Nodes, spherical coordinates and some flashy purple material
Who knew maths can actually be fun?
Made in blender3d
Let's start with an introduction ๐
I make art using Blender3d, most of my works are generative art using Geometry Nodes
