Corporate Media Buries Story of US and Israel Killing 168 in Girls School Attack No front-page stories in NYT, WSJ, WaPo. No mention on NBC and CBS Sunday Shows. No stand alone segments on Evening News shows. A death count on par with the OKC bombing is relegated to the back page.

I wrote about how the US and Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian girls school on par with the OKC bombing and US media relegated it to a back page story. No stand alone evening news segments, no front page stories, it made A11 in the NYT then everyone moved on.

I reject the language of "War with Iran" in favor of "War on the Iranian people". We can't pretend that US and Israeli airstrikes are a precision tool excising the evils of the regime. Not when the first reported deaths were the murders of at least 81 school girls.

I want to know each of their names.

These open at dusk and are pollinated by night-flying moths. One might then speculate the flowers have a significant sweet scent so the moths can find them. They do!

Missed a week with my 8th graders due to the storm, so one last Black History Month poem as a bridge into Women's History Month.

It's very easy for me to relate to that last repost, as I likewise hate the regime I live under, and would like to see it fall, but also don't want to be bombed. Seems straightforward as hell to me.

It's trying to prove dangerous conversion practices can work.

Under a new policy released Thursday, the Trump Administration will test conversion therapy on trans people in prisons. It explicitly states that it aims to help trans people “recover,” all the while forcibly detransitioning them both medically and socially.
