Trainspotting is 30.
Its sequel didn’t make the same impact as its predecessor but how could it?
Nevertheless, I think it’s an extremely touching film because of Ewen Bremner. Spud pulls himself out of his addiction through art: by writing his autobiography & making a Möbius strip of the two films.

I absolutely love both films.
The soundtracks to both are blindingly great - I often put T2 on loudly while I'm busy doing other things.. it facilitates my creativity. The visuals are superb, and the sentimentality of it is touching and profound. Love.

The thing about people getting indignant about being tarred with the Nazi/CSAM Lover brush for using twitter is, sure, they might not love those things - but they clearly aren't the fucking dealbreaker they should be.
