Except its not endearing like those playground rumors, its just the game wasting your time and you can't debunk it because its the literal game telling a lie because the AI is shit.

I can just imagine NPCs with AI generated text dialogue making shit up for the player
"There's a special items in the caves to the east" but there's no caves to the east, there's just a lake.

It will be like the playground rumors, bigfoot in GTA san andreas, but the game is the one telling lies.

Some i know don't want the whole thing upfront and do it like half after sketch, other half once finished.
And then just plaster fat watermarks all over the image when showing the complete work and after the final payment is done, they deliver the unwatermarked version.
That works too.

I always vouch for the "pay after sketch approval" way of doing commissions.
As much as i want there to be trust in society i feel like if you finish a piece or draw it near completion without getting payment, its a matter of WHEN you'll be screwed over, not if.

Payment near the middle is best.

Its so wild too since when the NFT shit was going on they were standing by creators, warning them if someone minted any of their art as a NFTs, a legit cool move.
Then AI comes around and they're like:
"Actually, we love tech/cryptobros now"

I am all for more ethical consumption but i literally can't stand it from the people who scream "That's unethical" and try to morally grandstand but then seconds later they buy and worship Disney or Blizzard afterwards.

But so is literally like every CEO of a big corporation in the US but surprisingly people only make a stance against a furry porn gallery but have no problem with consuming products from companies using child labor, union busting and who's bosses are on the Epstein flight logs.

I get it because you're put between either total "Interpretation of the character" which doesn't lead to very good tagging depending on what people actually seek.
And tagging as per what you're seeing with the addition of (Lore) tags. I think they chose the better option.
Not perfect, but better.

I will say though that it is a bit annoying with the "Tag what you see" thing. But i at the same time get it.
As someone who hate kemonomimis, nothing annoy me more than some generic anime character that can transform into a dragon and is therefor tagged as a dragon even in human form.

As a gallery site they clearly take this stuff seriously so they get pissed when people vandalize tags over political or ideological reasons.
But people seem to throw their arms up and not actually look into solving the issue for some reason.
I've reported and had people banned, its not impossible.

Here's one thing that people always fail to realize though with that.
Tags have a HISTORY tab! If someone does that for transphobic reasons you can literally track it, if its one user doing it on multiple images that is reportable and a BANNABLE OFFENSE.

I understand some peoples' disdain for E621 but one thing people are blatantly lying if they disagree with is if they claim E621 doesn't have the best moderated and well kept tagging system of any furry image hosting site.

Like if you were up against someone to find an image on furaffinity VS someone who had to find the same image on E621, it wouldn't even be a race.
Remember it was a blue dragon in a worm's eye POV and forest background?
You can literally search those three and boom. Found the image.

One very important distinction between it and those two pages:

-A functional tagging system.

Furaffinity has started working on improving it, now in later years, allowing people to make suggestions.
DeviantArt though, that things' tag system is ASS. Doesn't work worth shit.

At least us furries have E621.
But that's not so much a community as it is an archival site.

Plus theirs were quite early during NFT's short lifetime so while NFTs were disliked from an early stage, they weren't as hated to the point where it was impossible to miss by that point.
